This project will engage a regional museum officer to work with community museums and heritage organisations across Orange Blayney and Cabonne Councils on the documentation and digitisation of signficant objects and collections. Providing a focus for community engagement and public programs around distinctive stories from the region’s village, museums and historic places. This work builds on the award winning Sustainable Collection Program which is designed to assist community museums with documentation and interpretation of local collections, to share rural stories and foster conversations about people, places and collections.
This program is funded through Create NSW, Regional Cultural Fund, and Orange Blayney and Cabonne Councils.
