About this objectSteel dark-coloured helmet, with chin-strap missing. Helmet is a dome shape with a flat brim. There is a metal button pressed into the crown and two metal clips for fixing the chin strap. There is a large white 'W' painted on the front of the helmet, which would indicate it is part of the uniform of a Civil Air Raid Warden. The underside of the brim has 'Bexley 497' painted in white.
