The basket opens with a hinged lipped top and front side opens with metal fixed tray on the inside. Inside divided into two vertically, right hand side divided into two horizontally. Inside lid/top is printed card with 'DREW & SONS 33 PICCADILLY CIRCUS, LONDON' AND 'OWN DREW'S MAKE / DREWS' PATENT' and on LHS side 'DIRECTIONS / FOR THE USE OF /DREWS' / PATENT AND REGISTERED / "EN ROUTE / TEA BASKET'. The basket main body is made up of two compartments. The RHS compartment is divide in half horizontally. The shelves are taken up with tin formed boxes of varying sizes. There is a small stove on the LHS and a copper kettle. There are two rectangular enamel plates and two enamel mugs, a glass jar with a cork stopper for milk, and cutlery. The En Route Tea Basket has everything to make morning or afternoon tea will out in the car. The compact wicker basket contains a stove and a kettle, two enamel plates and two enamel mugs, plus tin containers for sugar, tea, cakes and sandwiches.
