Booklet was used as an attendance record for courses of instruction with the nature of each course shown and whether half pay was authorized.
Cream coloured booklet with cardboard cover and canvas tape binding. An Australian coat of arms is at the top with the printed heading "Platoon Roll Book/ and/ Attendance Record/ for/ School, courses and classes of / instruction, Bivouacs/ Weekend Exercises etc '.
Handwritten above is '21 Platoon'.
Inside front page lists instructions and from page 2 there are handwritten record lists of army number, rank and name, coy, Pl, nature, duration and dates of courses.
