About this objectDinner plate and bowl, used in the mess of the 6th Light Horse regiment. The regiment was raised in Sydney in September 1914 and sailed to Egypt arriving early 1915. It became part of the 2nd Light Horse Brigade and part of the ANZAC Mounted Division. The regiment also served in Palestine and Jordon. The regiment returned to Australia in June 1919.
