The ribbon at top of plaque is engraved with "Vietnam Veterans Annual Bowls Night".
The Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia badge in the centre of the plaque features a map of Vietnam, an aircraft, the Australian flag and Australian Defence Force logo. There is also a name plate at the base of the shield.
