About this object1. A steel, vinyl and wool-lined spinal support brace. Brace has a steel waist-band (4 cm) outer cover is vinyl stitched onto a woollen inside lining. 2 buckles are riveted onto left hand side front of waist-band. Further back on waist-band is a leather strap which goes around the top of the left leg and is attached to the second buckle on the left hand side.
On the right hand side of waist-band, riveted, there is a short leather strap which fastens the waist-band tot he first buckle on the left hand side.
The right hand side buckle, this bar has 2 buckles riveted on the outside the rods. At the end of the curved rods at the top, two plastic coated leather straps are riveted. these straps go over the shoulders and under the arms and are attached by the two buckles.
2. Two steel rods come out of waist-band and fit on either side of the spinal they have a vinyl exterior and woollen lining.
The rods are curved at the top to fit the shoulders. There is a bar (34.5 cm up) riveted horizontally across the two rods to secure the rods.
