Bottom end is metal with nozzle for extracting fluids. Top has metal ring with protrusion which locks the slotted cap onto the cylinder over the ring. The slotted removable cap has a cut out which goes to the centre to fit around the plunger.
The plunger has a 2.2cm deep, pointed, fitted end. Shaft of plunger appears fine by comparison with solid end. A disc to depress plunger is on the end of shaft.
