Information in the display folder indicates that the black and white photographs were taken with a Kodak camera purchased in Cairo, Egypt, and carried by F.S. Cornett during the desert campaigns of The Australian Light Horse. This camera was apparently also used by his son, F.J. Cornett in the New Guinea campaign in World War II.
The camera was donated to the Memorial War Museum along with the display folder, and the following items:
