About this objectThis plough was used for planting potatoes, a box was fitted onto the plough in front of the seat, filled with potatoes and a fellow would drop one potato at a time down the schute one at a time as the plough moved along, the mouldboard on thr next furrow would then cover each potato. The rows would be 4 furrows or about 3 feet (90cm)
