About this objectA brown wooden propeller top frame with three oval inserts in the upper curved surface, with a black and white photograph in each behind glass. The frame has decorative feet cut into the base of the frame, and a single hinged timber stand. On the back of the frame is handwritten in red ink, 'VLC - Tip of 4 blade propeller / RE 8 Aeroplane / 1914-1918'.
The photograph at the top of the frame is of an airman, and the bottom two are photographs of soldiers. All three men are wearing rising sun badges on their collars.
A note attached to the item has printed on it, 'Victor Leonard / COTTAM / dated 6/5/18'.
