About this objectBrown wooden shield, presented by the 'Orange RSL Sub-Branch Ex Services Club for competition between units of the 14 Cadet Battalion'.
In the centre of the shield is a silver metal plate, with a scrolled decorative border and a soldier laying on a blanket aiming his rifle. This central raised EPNS section on the shield is made by Lewbury.
At the top and bottom of the shield are silver metal banners, and there are fourteen small silver badges around the edges of the shield.
Five of these badges are engraved with the names of schools that have won the shield. The date range of these badges is 1969-1974.
