The shirts have two external breast pockets fastened by a brown plastic button. The shirts are secured by the two brown plastic buttons to the waist level. Each shirt has a white label inside the collar, "Made by David Jones, Sydney".
One shirt and all the detachable collars have 'Lieut A.L. Bain' handwritten in black ink on them.
