1. Square satin doily with pink cotton frills. Embroidered, in the centre of the doily, is an image of King George V, inside a circle of green foliage with eight flags, four on each side. At the top of the doily, "A MERRY XMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR". At the bottom of the doily, "GOD SAVE THE KING" and "SOUVENIR OF EGYPT" inside a scroll, and in red cotton "1915 From Ben 1916". 2. Cream fine cotton scarf, with the words, "A SOUVENIR OF THE GREAT WORLD WAR AND THE GLORIOUS PART PLAYED BY AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND" at the top. In each corner of the scarf is a warship inside a yellow circle. In the centre in a yellow oval is a representation of troops storming the beach at Gallipoli. Underneath this is written "THE LANDING OF OUR GALLANT SONS OF EMPIRE ON THE GALLIPOLI PENINSULA". There are various flags surrounding the central oval. At the bottom of the scarf is a depiction of a damaged warship with the notation "THE SCRAP HEAP, A VIEW OF THE 'EMBEN' OFF THE COCOS KEELING ISLANDS". There is a border of small diamonds in red white and blue around the outside of the scarf.
