On the front of the collar are two 'AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES" rising sun badges. The jacket has two breast flap pockets, with buttons, and two hip flap pockets with no buttons. The jacket has five gold coloured 'AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES' buttons to fasten the jacket.
The jacket has two shoulder straps secured with military buttons, and three diamond shaped domed buttons along the length of each shoulder strap. Each sleeve cuff has two military buttons. The jacket has a 1140 mm long 56 mm wide black gabardine belt with a silver buckle and two prongs.
