About this objectA black rubber gas mask, with two glass lenses surrounded by metal frames and a metal filter. There is a black rubber expandable hose attached to the mask between the filter and a rectangular metal canister housed inside a pocket of a cream canvas bag. The canvas bag has a webbing shoulder strap with metal 'D' rings and attachment hooks. The name "GNR A.V. TINCKNELL" is handwritten in ink inside the front of the canvas bag.
Accompanying the gas mask on cream cardboard is a label with printed text, "WORLD WAR 2 GAS MASK. / DONATED BY ADRIAN PRIEST of ORANGE".
