On the front is a small image of a Christmas scene in a rectangular border, and in blue print, 'ON ACTIVE SERVICE / CHRISTMAS / 1944'. Handwritten in ink on the bottom of the front of the card is '2/6 Aust. Commando Sqn'.
Inside the card is printed 'Our Christmas Service' with a signature of the Chaplain, and on the reverse of the card is the verse, 'Silent Night, Holy Night' printed in full.
