The photograph shows Anzac Cove, with soldiers, stores of equipment, a red cross tent around the beach, and a temporary jetty extending into the cove with barges alongside loading and unloading supplies.
The original photograph, taken by Walter Ernest Dexter, was black and white and has been hand-coloured. Original black and white photograph print was acquired by Colarts in circa 1925.
