About this objectPorcelain memorial plate from the Boer War. It is a circular white fluted plate with ten leaves (flutes) around the perimeter.
There is a brown transfer printed scene of mounted soldiers charging the Boers in the centre, and around this scene is written "Our Boys at the Front / For Queen and Country". Handwritten on a sticker on the back is "Bore (sic) War 1898 - 1902".
