Borenore

Borenore is located 14km west of Orange and is a small rural community surrounded by orchards, vineyards and agricultural farming.  The village includes a school, historic railway station and a range of local produce outlets.

Borenore is home to the Australian National Field Days, which atrracts more than 50,000 people over the three days in October.

Things to see and do

  • Visit Borenore Caves Reserve 5km west of Borenore and explore the many wonders including the Tunnel Cave, Arch Cave and the picnic area.
  • There are numerous wineries in the area producing wine of unique and distinct character.
  • Visit the fig and berry farm where you can pick your own berries – November to April.
